$30K In Jewelry Stolen From Bedminster Home

Bedminster Police found pry marks on the window frame and broken glass on the ground inside and outside of the home.

BEDMINSTER, NJ — A Bedminster home was burglarized last week and about $30,000 worth of jewelry was missing along with several Louis Vuitton suitcases, police report.

Bedminster Police responded to a Dorset Lane home on Dec. 16 at 5:35 p.m. where the officer saw a broken window located to the left of the front door.

Glass was on the ground inside and outside of the home. There were pry marks on the window frame and a broken candelabra inside the house directly under the broken window, police reported.

The homeowner said she left her home at approximately 4:32 p.m. and returned at 5:41 p.m. to find the window broken and the front door still closed and locked.

The dresser and walk in closet in the bedroom were ransacked. Approximately $30,000 worth of jewelry was missing along with several Louis Vuitton suitcases, police reported.
