3 Drug Possession Arrests Reported By Bedminster Police

BEDMINSTER, NJ — Bedminster Police report making multiple arrests on charges of drug possession, hindering and outstanding warrants.
Bedminster Police blotter:
On March 4 at 11:45 p.m.: Bedminster Police observed a grey Honda Civic traveling on Route 202/206 southbound with an obstructed front windshield due to the front driver’s side and passenger’s side windows having tint. A motor vehicle stop was conducted on I-287 southbound in the area of mile marker 21.6. Subsequent to the investigation, Cristian Supe, 21, of Plainfield was arrested for possession of controlled dangerous substance(CDS) marijuana under 50 grams and possession of drug paraphernalia. Supe was also issued motor vehicle summonses for obstruction of wind shield for vision and operation of motor vehicle while in possession of CDS.

On March 11 at 4:56 p.m.: Bryan Hershkowitz, 41, of Bridgewater responded to headquarters due to receiving a warrant in the mail. Hershkowitz was arrested on a traffic warrant out of Bedminster for $300. He was unable to post the full amount and was released on his own recognizance.
On March 16 at about 9:11 p.m.: Bedminster Police observed a gold Honda Accord with a Pennsylvania registration traveling on I-287 southbound in the area of the I-78 westbound entrance ramp with no visible rear license plate. A motor vehicle stop was conducted in I-78 westbound in the area of mile marker 30.4. Subsequent to the investigation, Hector Ruiz, 46, of Allentown, Pennsylvania was arrested for a traffic warrant out of Cinnaminson for $800. Ruiz was unable to post and was released on his own recognizance with a motor vehicle summons for improper display / unclear plates.

On March 17 at about 1:48 a.m.: Bedminster Police observed a maroon Nissan Altima traveling on I-78 westbound with an obstructed windshield due to tint on the front driver’s and passenger’s side windows. A motor vehicle stop was conducted on I-78 westbound in the area of mile marker 29.4. Subsequent to the investigation, Angel Linarez-Moscos, 21, of Plainfield was arrested for possession of controlled dangerous substance(CDS) marijuana under 50 grams and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was also issued motor vehicle summonses for obstruction of windshield for vision and operation of motor vehicle while in possession of CDS.
On March 17 at about 6:42 p.m.: Bedminster Police observed a black Toyota minivan with a Pennsylvania registration fail to move to the left or slow down while the officer was on the shoulder of I-78 westbound on a motor vehicle stop with emergency lights illuminated. The officer cleared the motor vehicle stop and conducted a motor vehicle stop on the van on I-78 westbound in the area of mile marker 26. Subsequent to the investigation, the passenger, Louis Olivieri, 39, of Allentown, Pennsylvania was arrested for hindering his own apprehension, prosecution, conviction or punishment, volunteering false information to law enforcement and a warrant out of Weehawken for $800. And issued a motor vehicle summons for failure of adult : rear seat passenger to wear seat belt.
On March 17 at about 11:09 p.m.: Bedminster Police observed a tan Dodge Caravan traveling on I-78 eastbound with an obstructed windshield due to tint on the front driver’s and passenger’s side windows. A motor vehicle stop was conducted on I-78 eastbound in the area of mile marker 30. Subsequent to the investigation, Tyrone Sharperson, 25, of Jersey City was arrested for possession of controlled dangerous substance(CDS) marijuana under 50 grams and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was also issued motor vehicle summonses for obstruction of windshield for vision, operation of motor vehicle while in possession of CDS, driving after driver's license / registration suspended / revoked, failure to possess driving insurance card and open container of alcohol in motor vehicle.
