5 Arrested For Warrants, Drug Possession, DUI In Bedminster: Blotter

Bedminster Police arrested five people last week on warrants, drug possession and driving under the influence, according to the blotter.

BEDMINSTER, NJ — Bedminster Police arrested five people last week on warrants, drug possession and driving under the influence, according to the blotter.

Bedminster Police blotter:

On Nov. 22 at 11 a.m.: Bedminster Police were stopped at the traffic signal on Rte. 202-206 South at River Road when a white truck was observed making a left onto Rte 202-206 from the River Road jug handle when the light was red. Subsequent to the investigation, Jason Feliciano, age 31 of New York, NY was arrested on two traffic warrants out of Bayonne Police Department totaling $500. Feliciano was unable to post bail and was released on his own recognizance pending a mandatory court date.

On Nov. 22 at 1:48 p.m.: Bedminster Police conducted a motor vehicle stop on Rte. 202 in the area of Bedminster Elementary School (234 Somerville Road). Subsequent to the investigation, Freddy Toca, age 54 of South Plainfield was arrested for a traffic warrant out of Green Brook Police Department for $500. Toca posted bail and was released.

On Nov. 22 at approximately 6:30 p.m.: Bedminster Police were advised of a subject in custody at Passaic County Jail who had two warrants out of Bedminster Township totaling $300. Jasmine J. Manuel, age 23, of Paterson was unable to post bail. Bedminster Municipal Court authorized Manuel to be released on her own recognizance with a mandatory court date.

On Nov. 22 at approximately 8:43 p.m.: While on patrol on Rattlesnake Bridge Road, Bedminster Police observed a black BMW SUV traveling northbound at a high rate of speed. The officer conducted the motor vehicle stop on Rte. 78 Westbound at mile marker 26.8. Subsequent to the investigation, John Grant age 25 of Whitehouse Station was arrested for 2C:35-10A(1) (possession of methamphetamine), 2C:35-10A(4) (CDS under 50 grams (marijuana), 2C:36-2 (possession of paraphernalia), 2c:36-6A (possession of a hypodermic needle or syringe) and issued motor vehicle summonses for 39:4-98 (speeding), 39:3-4 (driving unregistered motor vehicle), 39:3-40 (driving after DL Suspended), 39:3-33 (improper display/unclear plates), 39:3-29 (failure to possess DL and registration), 39:6B-2 (no liability insurance coverage), 39:3-71 (mirrors required) and 39:4-49.1 (operating a motor vehicle while in possession of CDS).

On Nov. 24 at 3:52 a.m.: Bedminster Police responded to the area of Rattlesnake Bridge Road by I78 for a single car motor vehicle crash. Subsequent to the investigation, Alexis Lena Salerno, age 26 of San Diego, CA was arrested for 39:4-50 (driving under the influence) and issued motor vehicle summonses for 39:3-40 (suspended DL), 39:4-97 (careless driving), and 39:3-76.2f (failure to wear seatbelt).
