5 Drug Arrests Reported In Bedminster
A truck was also reportedly found damaged with bark stuck on it and shattered glass on the side Burnt Mills Road, police report.

BEDMINSTER, NJ — Bedminster Police report making five arrests for drug possession, according to the police blotter.
Bedminster Police blotter:
On Sept. 17 at 11:51 p.m.: Bedminster Police observed a black Chevy Silverado with a New York registration traveling on Route 202/206 southbound in the area of the Knox House fail to give a proper signal while changing lanes. A motor vehicle stop was conducted on I-287 southbound in the area of mile marker 22.
Subsequent to the investigation, Brandon Rodriguez, 23, of Easton, Pennsylvania was arrested for possession of controlled dangerous substance(CDS) marijuana over 50 grams and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Rodriguez was also issued motor vehicle summonses for failure to give proper signal-turning or stopping, failure to possess driver's license or registration, driving after driver's license/registration suspended/revoked, failure to return or surrender driver's license and operation of motor vehicle while in
possession of CDS.

On Sept. 18 at about 9 p.m.: Bedminster Police observed a silver Chevy Silverado traveling on Route
202/206 southbound with no rear license plate lights which caused the registration to be unclear, the vehicle also failed to signal a proper lane change. A motor vehicle stop was conducted on I-287 southbound at mile marker 21.8. Subsequent to the investigation, the driver, Jason Sanchez, 25 and two passengers, Adderly Placencia, 24 and Emmanuel Dominguez-Farias, 23, all of Perth Amboy were arrested for possession of CDS marijuana under 50 grams and possession of drug paraphernalia. Sanchez was also issued motor vehicle summonses for failure to give proper signal-turning or stopping, maintenance of lamps, improper display / unclear plates and operation of motor vehicle while in possession of CDS.
On Sept. 19 at about 2:35 a.m.: Bedminster Police observed a white Nissan Altima traveling on Route 206
northbound in the area of the Bedminster Shell gas station fail to signal a proper lane change twice and have an obstructed front windshield due to a phone GPS mounted directly below the rear view mirror. A motor vehicle stop was conducted on Route 206 northbound in the area of the Church of the Hills. Subsequent to the investigation, Michael O’Kelly, 37, of Toms River was arrested for possession of CDS marijuana under 50 grams and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was also issued motor vehicle summonses for failure to give proper signal-turning or stopping, obstruction of windshield for vision, and operation of MV while in
possession of CDS.

On Sept. 21 at 12:09 a.m.: Bedminster Police were dispatched to Burnt Mills Road in the area of the fisherman’s cut out for a report of a suspicious motor vehicle. Upon arrival, the officer observed a green Ford Ranger pulled onto the grass shoulder of the westbound lane just west of the cut out unoccupied. The vehicle
did not have license plates and the passenger’s side was damaged from front to back and had fresh scratches and bark on it from a tree. The passenger side window was completely shattered with a majority of the glass inside of the vehicle and the side view mirror was missing. The key to the truck was still in the ignition and it was turned so that the electronics were still on. Subsequent to the investigation, Marlon Gutierrez Gutierrez, 33, of River Road East in Bedminster was issued motor vehicle summonses for driving without license – never licensed, failure to report accident, leaving the scene of accident involving property damage, unclear plates and abandoned motor vehicle.
