6 Arrested In Bedminster For Warrants, Drugs
A total of five people were arrested on outstanding warrants and one for marijuana possession, Bedminster Police report.

BEDMINSTER, NJ — A total of five people were arrested on outstanding warrants and one for marijuana possession, Bedminster Police report.
Bedminster Police Blotter:
On Dec. 5: On this date, Bedminster Police responded to a residence on Country Club Road to investigate a theft which was reported by the homeowner. Subsequent to the investigation, Michael Hurley, 28, of
Chatham was arrested for 2C:35-10A(4) (possession of less than 50 grams of marijuana) and 2C:36-2
(possession of drug paraphernalia). Lorenzo Raffa, 19, of Lumberton was arrested on a warrant out
of Edgewater Park Twp. for $833. Raffa was unable to post and was released on his own recognizance.

On Dec. 6 at approximately 12:36 a.m.: Bedminster Police were observing traffic on Route 206 in the area of Quick Chek when a black Chevy Cobalt drove past with obstructed front windows due to tint. A motor vehicle stop was conducted on Route 202/206 southbound prior to the Route 287 southbound ramp.
Subsequent to the investigation, Abraham Portillo-Galicia, 27, of Somerset was arrested on a traffic warrant out of North Brunswick for $500 and issued motor vehicles summonses for 39:3-40 (driving while suspended) and 39:3-74 (obstruction of windshield for vision). Portillo-Galicia posted bail and was released.
On Dec. 6 at approximately 3:35 a.m.: Bedminster Police took over custody of, Bruce Williams, 60 of Rocky Mount, North Carolina from Port Authority Police Department. Williams was arrested for a traffic warrant out of Bedminster for $409, no 10 percent option. Williams was lodge in Somerset County Jail in lieu of bail.

On Dec. 7 at approximately 9:30 p.m.: Bedminster Police were observing traffic on Route 202/206 northbound in the area of River Road when a gray Kia Optima drove past with obstructed front windows due to tint. A motor vehicle stop was conducted on Route 206 northbound at Somerset Financial Drive. Subsequent to the investigation, Asia Irish, 25, of Franklin Park was arrested for a traffic warrant out of Franklin Township for $500, no 10 percent option and was also issued motor vehicle summonses for 39:3-40 (driving while suspended) and 39:3-74 (obstruction of windshield for vision). Irish posted bail and was released.
On Dec. 8 at 8:27 p.m.: While traveling eastbound on River Road approaching the Route 202/206 intersection, Bedminster Police observed a black Dodge Charger in the wrong lane at the traffic light attempting to make a left onto Route 202/206 north. A motor vehicle stop was conducted. Subsequent to the
investigation, Craig Hughes, 36, of East Orange was arrested on a traffic warrant out of Newark for $350 and issued motor vehicle summonses for 39:4-85.1 (wrong way), 39:3-10 (driving without a license), 39:3-40 (driving while suspended), 39:4-51b (open container) and 39:8-1 (failure to inspect). Hughes was unable to post and was released on his own recognizance.
