BEDMINSTER, NJ — A creative night out is coming to Bedminster, where neighbors can turn a blank canvas into a finished painting — with cider along the way.
The Center for Contemporary Art will host Friday Night Arts: September Paint and Sip from 5:30 to 7 p.m. Friday, September 18, at Burnt Mills Cider Company, 3540 Route 206.
An instructor will guide participants step by step as they create a painting to take home. No art experience is necessary, according to the Center, which promises an evening of "painting, laughter, and locally crafted hard cider."
Registration costs $50 and includes art supplies and one complimentary drink ticket. The event is open to adults, although guests must be 21 or older to receive the drink voucher.
Burnt Mills Cider Company produces premium hard cider in Bedminster and describes its public tasting room as a relaxed community gathering place.
Organizers encourage participants to bring friends and creativity. Registration is available through the Center's website. The program is not eligible for a member discount.
