BEDMINSTER, NJ — Runners and walkers can hit the pavement for a cause in Bedminster this weekend.
The 2nd Annual Bob Hendricks Memorial 5K Run/Walk begins Sunday at 9 a.m. at River Road Park, 3055 River Road.
Registration costs $40 for the in-person 5K, with registration available until 9 a.m. Sunday. A virtual option costs $30, with registration remaining open until 11:59 p.m. Sunday.
The event honors Bob Hendricks, a two-time Ironman, ultramarathon runner and triathlete who died from pancreatic cancer in 2025.
The USATF-certified course follows paved paths between River Road Park and the Bedminster Police Station. Proceeds support Project Purple, funding pancreatic cancer research and patient aid.
Registration and check-in open at 7:30 a.m., with an awards ceremony scheduled for 10:15 a.m.
