PLUCKEMIN, NJ — A longtime beloved Somerset County deli will be closing after 40 years in business.
"It is with heavy hearts that we are announcing our closing," said Annie's Deli. "We want to thank you for letting us be a part of all of your celebrations as well as your day-to-day lives for so many years. It means more to us than you'll ever know."
Annie's Deli, at 2095 Burnt Mills Road in Pluckemin, said it was forced to close "due to new fire codes and the age of our building."
The deli's last day will be on Saturday, Oct. 24.
"While our hearts are heavy saying goodbye, they are even fuller because of the incredible community that has supported us along the way. You made this place more than a business. You made it a home," said the deli.
