Instructor Doris Ettlinger will teach participants to create crow silhouettes in different poses before painting a dead tree filled with the birds.

Ettlinger, a graduate of RISD and the University of Wisconsin, has illustrated 40 children's picture books and teaches the Musconetcong Watercolor Group.

"Corvids are smarter than your average bird. They keep an eye on the neighborhood," the center said.

"You'll discover that the birds are more colorful than they seem."

Tuition is $110 for members and $135 for nonmembers. Registration is available online.
