Bear Spotted In Bernardsville Sunday
Police also responded to a dispute at the Bernardsville Car Wash between an employee and a patron over a sponge, according to the blotter.

BERNARDSVILLE, NJ — A black bear was spotted in Bernardsville on Sunday morning, police report.
The bear was reported at 10:42 a.m. on June 18 on Seney Drive. No aggressive behavior reported.

On June 17 at 2:50 p.m.: A homeowner of West Street reported coming home to find that her back patio door had been shattered. Officers investigated and determined the damage may have come from a lawnmower that kicked up rocks into the door.
On June 16 at 8:38 a.m.: An employee of the Bernardsville Car Wash and a patron got into a verbal dispute over the patron using personal cleaning items, such as a sponge, while taking up a spot he was not paying for in the self-serve section of the car wash.
