Bedminster Local's Art Work To Be Exhibited At RVCC

BEDMINSTER, NJ — A Bedminster local is among the Raritan Valley Community College’s (RVCC) Visual and Performing Arts (VAPA) Department faulty members to have their work showcased, Sept. 6 to 22, in the Art Gallery at the College’s Branchburg campus.

James Adkins of Bedminster will have his “Bust of Menelaus” — which has a medium of charcoal and chalk on toned paper — on display.

The show is being coordinated by RVCC Art Gallery coordinator and VAPA faculty member Darren McManus. An Artists’ Talk will be held Friday, Sept. 8, from 5 to 6 p.m. A reception will follow from 6 to 7 p.m. Both are free and open to the public. Refreshments will be served.

The exhibition will feature work by RVCC art faculty members representing a wide range of media, including drawing, painting, sculpture, ceramics, printmaking, video, graphic design, digital media, interior design and photography.

Gallery hours for the exhibition are Mondays, 3 to 8 p.m.; Tuesdays, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.; Wednesdays, 3 to 8 p.m.; Thursdays, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.; and Fridays, 1 to 4 p.m.
