Bedminster Man Arrested For DWI In Town

The arrest was made after Bedminster Police responded to a report of a man yelling and screaming at the Quick Chek on Route 206.

BEDMINSTER, NJ — A Bedminster man was arrested for driving while intoxicated following a report of a driver yelling and screaming at the town Quick Chek.

On March 20 at 6:06 p.m., Bedminster Police responded to Quick Chek (1568 Route 206) for a report of a Hispanic male in a gray Lexus yelling and screaming.

Subsequent to the investigation, Joshua Gross, 27 of Bedminster was arrested for 39:4-50 (driving while intoxicated), and issued motor vehicle summonses for 39:4-51b (Possession of Open Container of Alcohol), 39:4-96 (Reckless Driving), and 39:3-66 (Maintenance of Lamps), Bedminster Police reported.

On March 13 at 5:38 p.m.: Bedminster Police responded to a report of a man slumped over the steering wheel stopped at Route 202/206 North by the Somerville Road intersection. Subsequent to the investigation, Brian Dowling, 32, of Flanders was arrested for 39:4-50 (driving while intoxicated) and issued motor vehicle summonses for 39:4-67 (obstruction of vehicles) and 39:3-40 (suspended driver’s license). Dowling was also arrested on a $500.00 traffic warrant out of Peapack-Gladstone. He was released on his own recognizance pending a new court date for the warrant.

On March 13 at approximately 10:50 p.m.: While traveling on Route 202/206 North by Burnt Mills Road, Bedminster Police conducted a random look up on a Gray Infiniti. The registered owner came back showing a suspended driver’s license as well as an outstanding warrant. A motor vehicle stop was conducted at Route 202/206 South in front of the Bridgewater Manor. Subsequent to the investigation, Justin Minfee, 29, of Newark was arrested for a $767 traffic warrant out of Bloomfield Twp. and issued motor vehicle summonses for 39:3-40 (suspended driver’s license), 39:5-35 (failure to surrender suspended driver’s license), 39:3-74 (obstruction of windshields) and 39:8-1 (failure to have inspection). Minfee was released on his own recognizance pending a new court date for the warrant.

On March 18 at 12:05 a.m.: Bedminster Police initiated a motor vehicle stop on a white 2012 Mazda3 in the parking lot of Verizon Wireless (180 Washington Valley Road). Subsequent to the investigation, Steven Fowler, 31 of Scotch Plains was arrested for a traffic warrant out of Woodbridge for $81 and was issued a motor vehicle summons for 39:3-74 (obstruction of windshields). Fowler posted bail and was released.

On March 28 at 11:33 p.m.: Bedminster Police initiated a motor vehicle stop of a silver Mitsubishi Mirage on Hills Drive east of Route 202/206. Subsequent to the investigation the driver, Patrick Salvodon, 45, of Brooklyn, New York was arrested for a traffic warrant out of Westampton for $500 and a traffic warrant out of Jersey City for $100 and issued motor vehicle summonses for 39:4-123B (improper left turn) and 39:3-29 (failure to possess registration). The passenger Jamill Manning, 36, of Newark was arrested for a warrant out of Hopewell Twp. for $576. Both subject were released on their own recognizance and issued new court dates.

On March 29 at 6:34 p.m.: Bedminster Police conducted a motor vehicle stop on Route 202/206 south by Route 287 on a Gray BMW. Subsequent to the investigation Michael Liu, 52, of Millburn was arrested on two traffic warrants, one out of South Plainfield for $158 and one out of Alpine for $100. Liu posted bail and was released.

On March 29 at approximately 6:50 p.m.: Bedminster Police were notified that the New Jersey State Police had, Dylan Ahlert, 24, of Somerville under arrest on a Bedminster warrant for $100. Ahlert was transported to Bedminster Police HQ by the NJSP. Ahlert posted bail and was released.

On April 2 at 7:33 p.m.: While Bedminster Police were traveling South on Route 206 approaching the intersection of Route 202, the officer observed a beige Pontiac travel from the left lane to the right lane without using a directional. The motor vehicle stop was conducted in the Exxon parking lot (505 Route 202/206). Subsequent to the investigation, Rachel Krauss, 22, of Bayville was arrested for 2C:35-10a.4 (possession of under 50 grams of Marijuana) and 2C:36-2 (possession of drug paraphernalia). Krauss was processed and released.
