Bedminster Neighbor Caught On Video Stealing Packages: Police
Crystal Ruth-Velloso was charged with theft after a Hyde Court neighbor reported several online packages went missing recently.
BEDMINSTER, NJ — A Bedminster woman was arrested after she was caught on camera stealing a package from her neighbor's home, police report.
Crystal Ruth-Velloso, 55, of Hyde Court was arrested for theft under $200.
On Aug. 24 at 9:10 p.m., Hyde Court homeowners reported they had been noticing several packages that they ordered online were disappearing over the past few months. The shipping statuses had been showing that the packages were delivered, Bedminster Police report.

The homeowners said they were expecting a package from Amazon on Aug. 24 and when they checked their Amazon account it showed that it was delivered during the afternoon on Aug. 23.
The homeowners checked their surveillance cameras, which showed their neighbor, Ruth-Velloso, emerge from her home and take the package from in front of their door and return to her home, police report.

Ruth-Velloso was later arrested and charged.
