Bedminster Police Arrest 6 On Outstanding Warrants

Bedminster Police arrested six people recently for having outstanding warrants, according to the police blotter.

BEDMINSTER, NJ — Bedminster Police arrested six people recently for having outstanding warrants, according to the police blotter.

Bedminster Police Blotter:

On March 22 at 3:21 p.m.: Bedminster Police responded to Fresh Market (75 Washington Valley Road) for a report of solicitors. The report stated that two males were selling items in the area of Fresh Market and were
operating out of a red Ford Explorer. Officers located the vehicle and made contact with Timothy Thompson, 35, of Wallington and Nasier James, 20, of Garfield. They stated they were trying to sell artwork (historical sports photographs) to people around the shopping center and did not have solicitor’s permits. Subsequent to the investigation, James, was arrested on a warrant out of Chatham for $200. James was unable to post and was released on his own recognizance. Both parties were given a verbal warning for local ordinance 4-1.1 (soliciting without a permit).

On March 22 at 4:37 p.m.: Bedminster Police responded to police headquarters and met with, Robert Sudol, 23, of Bloomingdale. Sudol wished to satisfy a Bedminster traffic warrant for $200. Sudol posted bail and was released.

On March 23 at 4:25 p.m.: Bedminster Police responded to the Morris County Jail to transport a prisoner to Somerset County Jail. Mary Tierney Mania, 32, of Stanhope was arrested on a Bedminster warrant for $500. Mania was lodged in Somerset County Jail in lieu of bail.

On March 24 at 2:39 p.m.: Bedminster Police responded to police headquarters and met with, Robert Craig, 61 of Bridgewater. Craig wished to satisfy a Bedminster traffic warrant for $100. Craig posted bail and was released.

On April 2 at approximately 2:39 a.m.: Bedminster Police observed a silver Honda CRV make an illegal left turn from Route 202/206 northbound at River Road onto Route 202/206 southbound while sitting stationary at the River Road Park entrance. A motor vehicle stop was conducted on Route 202/206 southbound just prior to the Exxon gas station. Subsequent to the investigation, Cruz Torres, 67, of Jersey City was arrested for a traffic warrant out of Woodbridge for $165. Torres posted bail and was issued motor vehicle summonses for driving after driver’s license suspended, failure to return or surrender suspended driver’s license, driving unregistered motor vehicle and improper left turn.

On April 2 at approximately 10:45 p.m.: Bedminster Police observed a silver Honda Accord fail to keep right while traveling in front of the patrol vehicle on Route 202/206 southbound in the area of the Knox House. A motor vehicle stop was conducted on Route 202/206 southbound just prior to the Route 287 southbound entrance ramp. Subsequent to the motor vehicle stop, Frank Castillo, 28, of Hazelton, Pennsylvania was arrested for a traffic warrant out of Paramus for $89. Castillo posted bail and was issued motor vehicle summonses for failure to keep right.
