Bedminster Police Report Making Multiple Drug Arrests

The drug arrests included possession of marijuana, methamphetamine and hypodermic needles.

BEDMINSTER, NJ — Bedminster Police reported making multiple arrests for drug possession and other charges.

Bedminster Police blotter:

On Nov. 19 at 10:54 p.m.: Bedminster Police observed a white Nissan Sentra traveling on Route 202/206 southbound fail to give a proper signal while making a lane change. The officer caught up to the vehicle and observed the front passenger ashing a cigarette out of the window. A motor vehicle stop was conducted on I-287 southbound in the area of mile marker 21.8. Subsequent to the investigation, the passenger, Justin Schaub, 31, of Binghamton, New York was arrested on a three active warrants; Bloomingdale for $1,500, Wanaque for $1,000 and Haledon for $550. Schaub was unable to post bail for any of the warrants and was turned over to Wanaque Police. He was also issued a verbal warning for littering from a motor vehicle.

On Nov. 20 at about 8:34 p.m.: Bedminster Police observed a burgundy Chevy Malibu traveling on Route 202/206 northbound with a rear stoplight violation and the driver not wearing a seatbelt. A motor vehicle stop was conducted on Route 206 northbound in the area of Somerset Financial Drive. Subsequent to the investigation, Daniel Koshinski, 27, of Allentown, Pennsylvania was arrested for possession of controlled dangerous substance(CDS) methamphetamine, possession of CDS marijuana under 50 grams, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of two hypodermic needles. Koshinski was also issued motor vehicle summonses for failure to wear seat equipment – responsibility of driver, rear stoplight violation, and operation of motor vehicle while in possession of CDS.

On Nov. 21 at 7 p.m.: Bedminster Police initiated a motor vehicle stop on a tan Nissan Altima at the intersection of Route 202/206 southbound and River Road after observing that the driver side brake lights were inoperable and the driver disregard a stop sign. Subsequent to the investigation, the passenger, Dorian Rosario, 22, of Perth Amboy was arrested for possession of CDS marijuana under 50 grams. The driver, Damiann Rosario, 19, of Perth Amboy was issued motor vehicle summonses for disregard stop sign and maintenance of lamps.

On Nov. 25 at about 10:58 p.m.: Bedminster Police observed a white Chevy SUV with a Texas registration traveling on I-287 southbound just prior to exit 22 fail to keep right. A motor vehicle stop was conducted on I-287 southbound in the area of mile marker 22. Subsequent to the investigation, the passenger, Nina Fogle, 26, of Brooklyn, New York was arrested for possession with intent to distribute marijuana over 1 ounce and under 5 pounds, possession with intent to distribute drug paraphernalia and possession of drug paraphernalia. The driver, Jabari Elmore, 27, of Harrisburg, Pennsylvania was issued motor vehicle summonses for operation of motor vehicle while in possession of CDS and failure to keep right.
