Bedminster Township Police Officer Honored With Police Medal Award

BEDMINSTER, NJ — A Bedminster Township police officer was awarded a Police Medal Award for his outstanding performance while responding to an incident earlier this year.

Liam McCann was awarded the Police Medal Award on June 15 and was recognized for how he responded to a burglary in progress in the neighboring Borough of Peapack-Gladstone.

Officer McCann, acting alone and without assistance, confronted two suspects actively involved in a burglary, and he successfully apprehended and arrested both suspects.
