Bedminster Woman Arrested For Driving Under the Influence: Blotter

Four people were arrested last week in Bedminster including a township woman for driving under the influence: blotter

BEDMINSTER, NJ — Four people were arrested last week in Bedminster including a township woman for driving under the influence, according to the police blotter.

Bedminster Police Blotter:

On Sept. 15 at 9:42 p.m.: Bedminster Police responded to the parking lot of Burger King (2045 Burnt Mills Road) for a reckless driver complaint. Upon arrival, the officers observed a white Nissan Altima parked illegally in the handicap parking space. Subsequent to the investigation, Josephine Reilly, 34 of Ashley Court in Bedminster was arrested for driving under the influence and issued summonses for handicap parking, improper passing, failure to maintain lane and DUI in a school zone.

On Sept. 13 at approximately 3:32 p.m.: After being adjudicated in Bedminster Municipal Court, Johnathan Figueroa, 21 of East Rutherford was arrested on three warrants, one out of Wantage for $500 and two out of Newton which totaled $1,750. Figueroa was unable to post and was released on his own recognizance.

On Sept. 13 at 4:50 p.m.: Bedminster Police responded to Kings Supermarket for a report of harassing phone calls. Upon arriving the officer spoke with the store manager who advised for the past several weeks someone has been calling the store claiming they were from a collection agency looking for an employee. The person reportedly called the store between 30 to 40 times between 2:30 and 4 p.m. While at the store the “collection agency” called back and the officer spoke with the person. The female began shouting and demanding she speak with the employee and hung up the phone. The caller then called back several more times. The officer advised the manager that this appeared to be a phone scam and was advised to have the number blocked. A Google search of the phone number, 646-688- 2919, shows multiple reports of people claiming this was a scam.

On Sept. 14 at 9:56 p.m.: Bedminster Police observed a white Ford F250 with a Pennsylvania registration stoppind in the entrance to the NJ DOT Yard (455 Rte 202-206). Subsequent to the investigation, Kelvin Rodriguez-Diaz, 28 of Reading, PA was arrested on a traffic warrant out of Jersey City for $150. He was also issued summonses for driving while suspended, unclear/fictitious plates and unregistered vehicle. Rodriguez-Diaz’s vehicle was towed, and he posted full bail.

On Sept. 18 at approximately 11:40 p.m.: Bedminster Police responded to the Bedminster Shell (1525 Rte 206) to check on a person who was trying to pump gas. Subsequent to the investigation, Tyler Finkbeiner, 21 of Easton, PA was arrested for possession of CDS under 50 grams.
