Bedminster Woman Bites Man During Trump Rally

"TRUMP OUT" was also reportedly spray painted on the NJ American Water pump house in Bedminster in a separate incident.

BEDMINSTER, NJ — During a Trump rally, a Bedminster woman reportedly bit a man, police report.

On July 17 at around 11:30 a.m., while stationed at Clarence Dillon Library (2336 Lamington Road) to maintain police presence during a demonstration with both Pro- and Anti-Trump protesters, Paul Murry Jr. of Slate Hill, New York reported to police that he was just bitten by a woman.

Murry Jr. pointed to the woman in question who was later identified as Sara Ehrlich of Quincy Court in Bedminster, police report.

Murry Jr. said while standing at the fence line Ehrlich pushed her way in front of him with her sign. He stated he grabbed the sign to get it away from his face and she bit him, police report.

Ehrlich said that Murry Jr. grabbed her by the arm and pulled her backwards so she defended herself, police report.

Murry Jr. and Ehrlich were advised of complaint signing procedures.

On July 18 at 12:06 p.m.: Bedminster Police responded to NJ American Water pump house located on Route 202/206 north between Hills Drive and Wynnewood Road for a report of criminal mischief. Upon arrival, the officer spoke with the area supervisor for Natural Systems Utilities who are subcontracted by NJ American Water. He advised that when he arrived at the pump house he found “TRUMP OUT” spray painted in black lettering across the front of the building.

On July 18 at 10:03 p.m.: Bedminster Police responded to the Bedminster Exxon (505 Route 202/206) for a report of suspicious people with a disabled red Subaru. Subsequent to the investigation, Matthew Ellington,
26 of North Plains, Oregon was arrested for 2C:35-10a(1) (possession of schedule III CDS), 2C:36-2
(possession of drug paraphernalia) and 2C:36-6 (possession of a syringe).
