The Bernards Inn announces a Holiday Toy Drive to benefit New Jersey’s “little soldiers,” children whose parents are serving military duty and will be deployed during the holidays.
Members of the community and guests are encouraged to bring new, unwrapped toys and gift cards to place under the Inn’s Holiday tree in the lobby where they will be collected and distributed by American Recreational Military Services (ARMS) through their annual “Project Little Soldier” program. Gifts and monetary donations will be accepted from December 4 – December 14.

“We wanted to do more this year to help our troops and thought collecting toys for their children would help brighten their holidays and add to our spirit at the Inn,” said Proprietor Harold Imperatore. The Bernards Inn recently donated a free wedding reception to a military couple as part of the Bernardsville Chamber of Commerce’s American Dream Military Wedding Giveaway.
The Project Little Soldier Drive will kick off at the Inn’s annual Holiday Shopping Boutique on December 4 from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.
