Bernards Township to Combat Domestic Violence
Township officials to vote tonight to get services and training from Somerset Hills Domestic Violence Response Team

Bernards Township, NJ -- Bernards Township is teaming up with the Resource Center of Somerset, Somerset Hills Domestic Violence Response Team (SHCVRT), to combat domestic violence incidents.
Through grant funding, from the NJ State Office of Victim-Witness Advocacy, SHCVRT will provide participating municipalities with services and training to volunteers and police officers in matters that pertain to domestic violence incidents.
Township officials of Bernards will vote to be a participating municipality and receive services from the Somerset Hills Domestic Violence Response Team (SHCVRT) at tonight’s committee meeting.

Funding for these services are presently provided through a V.A.W.A. Grant (Violence Against Women Act) administered through the New Jersey Division of Law & Public Safety, Department of Criminal Justice, Office of Victim/ Witness Advocacy; and granted to the Resource Center of Somerset.
