Bernardsville Park To Close For Deer Hunt

BASKING RIDGE, NJ — Little Brook Park in Bernardsville will close for deer hunting through Feb. 17 on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from approximately 6 a.m. to 9:30 a.m., and again from 3 p.m. until sundown.

"For your safety, walkers are urged to remain on the trail, wear blaze orange, and keep pets on a leash at all times," the Somerset County Parks Commission stated.

The entire trail system at the Somerset County Park Commission Environmental Education Center in Basking Ridge will also be closed on select upcoming dates for the annual deer hunt.

Dates include:

• Wednesday, Jan. 24
• Friday, Feb. 2 until 1 p.m.
• Wednesday, Feb. 14
