Bernardsville Police Urge Residents To Register For Smart911 Alerts
The free service delivers emergency alerts, road closures and severe weather updates specific to Bernardsville Borough.
BERNARDSVILLE, NJ — The Bernardsville Police Department is encouraging residents to register for Smart911, a free notification service that delivers urgent alerts and important community information specific to Bernardsville Borough.
The service sends critical information directly to registered users, including emergency alerts, public safety notifications, road closures, severe weather updates and other important community messages, police said.
Personal information provided during registration is not shared with the Bernardsville Police Department, according to the announcement. Smart911 securely manages user information and uses it only to deliver notifications.

Residents can register at smart911.com. "A few minutes now can help ensure you receive important information when it matters most," the department said.
