Black River Road Bridge Closure
The Black River Road Bridge over the Axle Brook will be closed 4-6 weeks for emergency repairs.
The Black River Road Bridge (Somerset County Bridge No. C1205) over Axle Brook, between McCan Mill Road and Southfield Drive in Bedminster, has been closed for emergency repairs.
The bridge will remain closed until the repairs can be completed by the county’s contractor. It is estimated that the repairs will take four to six weeks to complete.
Construction currently ongoing on Pottersville (CR 512), Lamington (CR 523) and Burnt Mills (CR 620) roads will be coordinated with this emergency closure.
