The Bernardsville Farmers' Market held its annual Peach Festival at the peak of the peach season on July 31, 2021. The sun was bright and shoppers crowded the market. Mayor Mary Jane Canose picked the winning ticket in a free drawing for a basketful of peaches from Silver Lake Farm and Hensler Farms, awarded to winner Carol Danner of Basking Ridge. There were free samples of peach cake from Baker’s Bounty and peach ice cream from Dairy Queen on Morristown Road. Among other treats, Catalina Empanadas sold peach empanadas, Griggstown Farm offered peach pie, and Oldwick Soup offered Blueberry Peach Melba soup.
