The following has been available for some time but we would like to publicize that it is still available.

Friday Trips: The Borough of Bernardsville has a contract with Somerset County for Senior Transportation on Friday to ShopRite, Bernardsville Hardware Store, and banks. They would also drop someone off at Borough Hall if they needed to pay taxes. These trips are from 10:30am - 1:30pm. The bus holds up to 16 passengers and all buses are wheelchair accessible.

Pickup/Drop off: Residents would call Somerset County Transportation to schedule a trip. Residents are picked up from their homes or the Senior Center and then brought back to their homes. There's an option to be put on a routine schedule for automatic pickup and then a
person would call to cancel if they do not need to go on a certain day.

To schedule a seat on the bus for a Friday Trip, call Somerset County Transportation at 908-231-7115 on Monday through Friday from 8:30am until 6:00pm.
