Burglary Reported In Bedminster
Criminal mischief was also reported at River Road Park after a porta-potty was overturned and tire ruts were left there, police said.

BEDMINSTER, NJ — Burglary and criminal mischief were among the reports in last week's Bedminster police blotter.
Bedminster Police Blotter:
On June 5 at 6:57 p.m.: While sitting stationary on Route 202/206 South at River Road, Bedminster Police ran a random plate check of a Pontiac G6, which displayed the registered owner having a warrant. The motor vehicle stop was conducted on I-287 South at mile marker 22.7. Subsequent to the investigation, Timothy Nevolo, 29, of Neshanic Station was arrested on a traffic warrant out of Dover Twp. for $400. Nevolo posted bail and was issued a motor vehicle summons for 39:3-4 (unregistered motor vehicle).

On June 6 at 10:48 a.m.: Bedminster Police responded to River Road Park for the report of damage to the lawn and field. The officer observed tire ruts diagonally across the lawn/field. The officer also observed that the handicap portable restroom on the east side of the park was tipped onto its side.
On June 7 at approximately 2:35 p.m.: Nicole Bruno, 48, of Somerville responded to police headquarters to satisfy a traffic warrant. Bruno was arrested for a traffic warrant out of Bound Brook for $500. She posted bail and was released.

On June 8 at 7:14 p.m.: Bedminster police responded to Reed Lane for a report of a burglary that occurred earlier in the day. Upon arrival the officer spoke with the homeowner and another resident who advised that at approximately 1 a.m., he was awoken by a noise and went downstairs to find a window open in the kitchen. The homeowner advised that nothing was missing. Investigation has been turned over to the Detective Bureau.
