Cadet Capt Patrick Jackson accepts Cadet Command of Lone Eagle, Civil Air Patrol

On February 8th, Cadet Capt Patrick Jackson accepted Cadet Command of the Lone Eagle Composite Squadron, Civil Air Patrol (CAP), from Cadet Capt Brendan Hennessey Rose at a recent ceremony at the Scout Cabin, Peapack-Gladstone, NJ. Cadet Capt Brendan Hennessey Rose, of Basking Ridge, NJ, was thanked for his service as Cadet Commander and will continue as Cadet Advisor. He attends Ridge High School where he is active in football.

Cadet Capt Patrick Jackson is the son of Mr. and Mrs. James Jackson of Bernardsville, NJ.

He attends the Oratory Preparatory School, Summit, NJ, where he is active in varsity Ice Hockey, junior varsity Cross Country, and on the Student Council. Within CAP, he has served as Cadet Deputy Squadron and Flight Commander and Emergency Services Officer and has attended Regional Cadet Leadership and Hawk Mountain Ranger Schools. Most recently, he served as the Delta Flight Commander at the annual summer Basic Encampment.

Other Cadet assignments included C/2Lt Mark Petrin from Long Valley as Cadet Deputy Commander, C/1Lt Luke Stauffer from Bernardsville as Cadet Executive Officer, C/CMSgt Derek Petrin from Long Valley as Cadet First Sergeant, and C/MSgt Robert Boden from Mendham as Cadet Flight Sergeant.
