Join us Sunday, October 4th as we celebrate the opening of Wild Calm: NYC to NJ and Beyond, a stunning exhibit of paintings by artist Ingrid Marie Harbour, on view at Scherman Hoffman!
Spanning the past decade, this collection captures the gardens and parks of Staten Island and Central New Jersey, a series of detailed bird portraits, and even a mini trip out West to Red Rock Canyon, Nevada. Many pieces were painted en plein air with loose, fast brushwork, while others began outdoors and were finished in-studio for a more polished style.
Come meet Ingrid and experience her jewel-toned, site-responsive artwork that captures moments of calm amid the wild hustle and bustle of everyday life.

The exhibition runs Sept 13th through Nov 6th and is free and open to the public. The October 4th reception is a wonderful opportunity to view the work, speak with the artist, and celebrate the beauty of the natural world through her distinctive vision. A portion of the proceed will benefit New Jersey Audubon.
