Car Crashes Into Bedminster QuickChek Store
A patron inside QuickChek in Bedminster was hit as a SUV crashed into the front of store on Saturday.

BEDMISTER, NJ — A patron inside QuickChek in Bedminster was hit as a SUV crashed into the front of store on Saturday.
On Nov. 17 at 1:30 p.m. a white Lincoln Navigator driven by Mary Papetti-Granito, 46, of Chester hit the front doors of the Quick Chek located at 1578 Rt 206 and came to rest completely inside, Bedminster Police reported.
Neither the driver orthe juvenile passenger inside the SUV suffered any injuries.

The driver said she was parking and her foot slipped from the brake and instead hit the accelerator, police report.
Carl Lombardi, 66, of West Caldwell was inside the convenience store at the time of the crash and was struck by the vehicle and/or debris, police report.

Lombardi was treated for injuries by the Far Hills/Bedminster First Aid Squad and transported to Morristown Memorial Hospital. None of the injuries appeared to be life threatening.
The damage was contained to the front entry. Both doors and a nearby window were broken out of the masonry front wall. Quick Chek reopened for business on Sunday morning.
Also responding to the scene was Far Hills Bedminster Fire Department, Bedminster Building Code Officials, and Somerset County Department of Health.
