Celebrate Oktoberfest with Friends

Savor the tastes of five New Jersey beers and listen to an expert describe what to look for in a beer at Vine Restaurant in Basking Ridge.

On Sunday, October 18 from 5:00 to 7:00 pm, the Friends of the Bernardsville Library will host a beer tasting at Vine Restaurant, 95 Morristown Road in Basking Ridge. Savor the tastes of five different New Jersey beers and listen to an expert describe what to look for in a beer as well as how to evaluate it. An assortment of appetizers will complement the beers offered for tasting.

The beers will be supplied by Weyerbacher Brewery and the speaker will be Danielle DePalma who has an extensive knowledge of craft beer. Tickets for this fundraiser for the library are $100/person and must be purchased by October 12. Stop by the library or send a check, payable to The Friends of the Bernardsville Public Library, to 1 Anderson Hill Road, Bernardsville, NJ 07924. [Attendees must be 21 years or older.] Advance ticket purchase is required.

The Friends of the Bernardsville Public Library was established in 1902. The Friends consists of a group of volunteers who are committed to providing special programs and services that benefit all users of the library and all members of the community.
