Christie Todd Whitman to Speak at Bernardsville Library Fundraiser

Former Gov. Christie Todd Whitman will speak at a fundraiser for the Friends of the Bernardsville Library later this month.

The event, which will be held at Dolce in Basking Ridge on Oct. 27 from 4 to 7 p.m., will focus on "Superstorm Sandy: One Year Later." There will be a discussion on what to look forward to from the environment and government and preventative measures to minimize destruction.

Light refreshments will be served. Tickets are $100 each and must be purchased in advance and are available at the Bernardsville Public Library. For more information, call the library at 908-766-0118.
