Pack your picnic basket and head to Bedminster’s historic Jacobus Vanderveer House for Colonial SpringFest, Sunday, June 8 from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Visitors will be treated to musical performances by Linda Russell, a costumed reenactor and musician, who will sing ballads, play the dulcimer and guitar, and perform with the limberjack. A range of craftspeople, including potter John Gamble of Somerset, NJ, and scrimshaw artist Samuel Sinelnikov of Flemington, will give demonstrations and sell their wares. Colonial-period games will be available for children and the Jacobus Vanderveer House will be open for tours.

The free event will be held rain or shine. Visitors are encouraged to bring their food in a recyclable basket or container, along with a blanket or lawn chairs.
