COMMUNITY IN CRISIS

HEROIN, OPIATES, PRESCRIPTION PILLS

Use
of heroin and other opiates is the #1 health care crisis confronting
New Jersey, according to a report by the NJ Governor’s Council on
Alcoholism & Drug Abuse
Task Force. Drug overdose deaths now surpass the number of deaths
resulting from motor vehicle accidents. It takes a village to effect
meaningful and lasting change. Community leaders will hold a town hall
meeting to present a plan designed to combat the use
of prescription pills and heroin/ opiate drugs among adolescents in our
community. Please join us and learn how you can play a critical role in
safeguarding our youth.
