Driver Found Slumped Behind Wheel On Bedminster Road

The Piscataway woman was arrested for driving under the influence after she was found slumped behind the wheel on Rt. 206, police say.

BEDMINSTER, NJ — A Piscataway woman was found slumped behind the wheel of a silver Mercedes ML3 in Bedminster on Valentine's Day.

At 10:15 p.m., Kaitlyn Rickards, 32 was found in the lane of travel on Route 206 northbound just before to Lamington Road, Bedminster Police reported.

She was arrested for driving under the influence and issued motor vehicle summonses for refusal to submit a chemical breath test, reckless driving, careless driving, failure to produce license, registration or insurance, failure to wear seat belt and delaying traffic.

On Feb. 6 at around 1:46 a.m.: While observing traffic at the Verizon switching station on Route 202/206
northbound Bedminster Police observed a black Mazda 3 drive past with an obstructed front windshield. A motor vehicle stop was conducted at Route 206 northbound at the Quick Chek. Subsequent to the investigation the driver, Corrine Williams, 31, of Alpha was arrested for an active warrant out of Northampton County Sheriff’s office in Easton, Pennsylvania and charged with fugitive from justice. Williams was also issued motor vehicle summonses for obstruction of windshield for vision, improper display/unclear plates and operation of motor vehicle while in possession of CDS. She was lodged in Somerset County Jail. Ashley Mizzer, 28, of Chester was arrested for possession of CDS (heroin), possession of a hypodermic needle and possession of drug paraphernalia. Mizzer was processed and released. James Grieshaber, 41, of Washington was arrested for three warrants out of Camden totaling $550. Grieshaber was unable to post and was released on his own recognizance.

On Feb. 7 at around 1:03 a.m.: While observing traffic on Route 202/206 northbound at the Verizon switching station, Bedminster Police observed a silver Acura MDX drive past with an obstructed front window. A motor vehicle stop was conducted on Route 202/206 southbound in the area of the Knox House. Subsequent to the motor vehicle stop Austin Jeffery, 25, of Jersey City was arrested two active warrants out of Jersey City totaling $200. Jeffery posted bail and was issued motor vehicle summonses for driving after driver’s license/registration suspended/revoked, obstruction of windshield for vision and improper display/unclear plates and released.

On Feb. 8 at around 12:59 a.m.: While observing traffic in the entrance of Fiddler’s Elbow Golf Course on
Rattlesnake Bridge Road, Bedminster Police observed a beige Nissan Altima drive past with an unclear/obstructed rear license plate. A motor vehicle stop was conducted on Rattlesnake Bridge Road in the area of Burnt Mills Road. Subsequent to the motor vehicle stop, Cody Ray Huber, 22, of Raritan was arrested for an active warrant out of Newark for $3,000 and issued a motor vehicle summons for improper display/unclear plates. Huber was unable to post and was released on his own recognizance.

On Feb. 8 at 11:09 p.m.: Bedminster Police initiated a motor vehicle stop on a white Suzuki Kizashi on Route 206 just south of Somerset Financial Drive after a random license plate look up, which resulted with “no record on file”. Subsequent to the investigation, Chase Attanasio, 20, of Phillipsburg was arrested for a
traffic warrant out of Piscataway for $184. Attanasio posted bail and was issued motor vehicle summonses for improper display/unclear plates and maintenance of lamps and released.

On Feb. 12 at 3:04 a.m.: While en route to a service call, Bedminster Police came upon a black Honda Civic parked in the middle of Allen Road at the intersection of Hamilton Road. Subsequent to the investigation, Joseph Carbonaro, 25, of Victoria Drive in Basking Ridge was arrested for driving under the influence and issued motor vehicle summonses for reckless driving and careless driving.

On Feb. 13 at 5:22 p.m.: Bedminster Police responded to Middlesex County Jail and took over custody of Isaiah Pompey. Pompey, 23, of Bethlehem, Pennsylvania was arrested on two Bedminster warrants totaling $1,100. Pompey was lodged in Somerset County Jail in lieu of bail.

On Feb. 14 at around 9:20 p.m.: While observing traffic on Route 202/206 northbound at the Verizon switching station, a black Chevy Cobalt drove by and the driver and passengers were not wearing seat belts. A motor vehicle stop was conducted at Route 202/206 southbound just prior to Route 287 southbound. Subsequent to the investigation, Dylan Cregar (passenger), 20, of Monmouth Junction was arrested for possession of CDS under 50 grams (marijuana) and possession of drug paraphernalia and issued a motor vehicle summons for failure to wear seat belt. The driver was issued motor vehicle summonses for operation of a motor vehicle while in possession of CDS and failure to wear seat belt.

On Feb. 17 at 2:30 a.m.: While traveling on Route 202/206 approaching the Burnt Mills/Washington Valley Road traffic light, Bedminster Police observed a Red Volkswagon Jetta drive through the red light. A motor vehicle stop was conducted in front of the Bridgewater Manor. Subsequent to the investigation, Ashley Carom, 23, of Hopewell was arrested for driving under the influence, and issued motor vehicle summonses for failure to observe traffic control device, careless driving, obstructed windshield and failure to possess driver’s license.
