Drug Use Reported In Bedminster Woods Leads To Arrest

Bedminster man was arrested for possession of marijuana: police blotter

Bedminster, NJ -- Multiple incidents including the arrest of a township man was reported in the Bedminster Police blotter.

  • Suspicious Incident

On June 7 at 3:33 p.m.: Bedminster Police responded to 27 Ski Hill Drive for a report of a possible burglary. When the caller arrived home from school he found the rear sliding door open. Upon arriving officers conducted interior checks of the residence, and advised all appeared to be in order. The officers also advised there were no signs of forced entry to the home. The homeowner advised that all items seemed to be accounted for.

  • Dogs Running at Large

On June 11 at 10:30 a.m.: Bedminster Police responded to Old Dutch Road for a report of a loose dog. Upon arrival the officer spoke with the complainant who provided him with the dog. The complainant advised that his dog has been loose several times and he is concerned for the dog’s welfare. The officer advised the dog did not have a license on the collar. Victoria Loriallard, age 55 of Old Dutch Road was issued a summons for 5-11.1 (dog running at large).

  • CDS Arrest

On June 12: Bedminster Police responded to the end of Wren Lane for a report of possible drug use in the woods by a group of young men. Upon arrival the officer made contact with two juvenile males and two adult males. Subsequent to the investigation, Ryan Deleon, age 19 of Timothy Lane in Bedminster was arrested for 2C:35-10(a) (possession of less than 50 grams of marijuana) and 2C:36-2 (possession of drug paraphernalia).
