Drug, Warrant Arrests Made By Bedminster Police

Bedminster Police reported making three arrests on charges of drug possession and an outstanding warrant.

BEDMINSTER, NJ — Bedminster Police reported making three arrests on charges of drug possession and an outstanding warrant.

Bedminster Police blotter:

On Nov. 13 at 2:54 p.m.: Bedminster Police were on a radar detail at the intersection of Artillery Park Road and Robertson Drive when they observed a Toyota Camry headed northbound on Robertson Drive. After running the vehicle information through INFO COP, it showed that the registered owner had a suspended driver’s license and a warrant. A motor vehicle stop was conducted on Schley Mountain Road and Long Meadow Road. Subsequent to the investigation, Steven Drabik, 35, of Far Hills was arrested for a warrant out of Bernards Twp. for $950. Drabik was unable to post and was released on his own recognizance. He was also issued a motor vehicle summons for driving while suspended.

On Nov. 13 at approximately 10:45 p.m.: Bedminster Police observed a grey Kia Sorento traveling on Route 202/206 southbound fail to give a proper turn signal while changing lanes and fail to maintain its lane. A motor vehicle stop was conducted on Route 202/206 southbound just prior to the Bedminster Exxon. Subsequent to the investigation, Joseph Terry 4th , 18, of Piscataway was arrested for possession of controlled dangerous substance (CDS) marijuana under 50 grams and possession of drug paraphernalia. Terry was also issued motor vehicle summonses for failure to give proper signal – turning or stopping, traffic on marked lanes, and operation of motor vehicle while in possession of CDS.

On Nov. 15 at approximately 2:12 a.m.: Bedminster Police observed a silver Nissan sedan traveling on Route 206 southbound fail to maintain its lane and have an unclear license plate. A motor vehicle stop was conducted on Route 202/206 southbound in the area of the Knox House. Subsequent to the investigation, the passenger, William Woodrow, 23, of Newton was arrested for possession of CDS marijuana under 50 grams and possession of drug paraphernalia and issued a motor vehicle summons for failure of adult : rear seat passenger to wear seatbelt. The driver, George Kamenakis, 23, of Pennsville was issued motor vehicle summonses for traffic on marked lanes, improper display / unclear plates and operation of motor vehicle while in possession of CDS.

On Nov. 15 at 1:41 p.m.: Bedminster Police responded to a residence on Mayfield Road for a person stuck on the roof. Upon arrival the subject was braced against one of the chimney frames. He advised that he was repairing the roof when the roof became slick from the snow. The Far Hills-Bedminster Fire Department responded and assisted the subject down.
