DUI, Drug Possession, Warrant Arrests Made In Bedminster
Bedminster Police reported making multiple arrests on charges including driving under the influence, drug possession and more.
BEDMINSTER, NJ — Bedminster Police reported making multiple arrests on charges including driving under the influence, drug possession and outstanding warrants.
Bedminster Police blotter:
On March 20 at about 2:21 a.m.: Bedminster Police observed a white Volkswagon Jetta traveling on Route 206 southbound with an obstructed windshield due to the driver’s and passenger’s side windows being tinted. A motor vehicle stop was conducted on Route 206 southbound in the area of Somerset Financial Drive. Subsequent to the investigation, Adan Garcia, 19 of Lima, Ohio was arrested for possession of controlled dangerous substance (CDS) marijuana under 50 grams and possession of drug paraphernalia. Garcia was also issued motor vehicle summonses for operation of motor vehicle while in possession of CDS and obstruction of windshield for vision.

On March 30 at 11:28 p.m.: Bedminster Police observed a black Toyota Camry turning out of the River Road jug handle onto Route 202/206 southbound fail to give a proper turning signal. A motor vehicle stop was conducted on I-287 southbound in the area of mile marker 22. Subsequent to the investigation, Dorian Pawlowicz, 24 of Scotch Plains was arrested for possession of controlled dangerous substance (CDS) marijuana under 50 grams and issued motor vehicle summonses for failure to give proper signal – turning or stopping and operation of motor vehicle while in possession of CDS.
On March 22 at about 4:01 a.m.: Bedminster Police observed a gray Nissan Altima with no rear license plate lights exiting the Hills Drive jug handle crossing over Route 202/206 onto Hills Drive. A motor vehicle stop was conducted on Hills Drive at the entrance to Mayfield Road. Subsequent to the investigation, the passenger, Terrell Echols, 35, of Sage Court in Bedminster was arrested for a warrant out of Springfield Township for $2,000, a warrant out of Berkeley Heights for $1,000 and a warrant out of Irvington for $200. Echols was also arrested for hindering his own apprehension, prosecution, conviction or punishment, volunteering false information to a law enforcement officer and issued a summons for failure of adult: rear seat passenger to wear a seat belt. Echols was unable to post bail and was released on his own recognizance.

On March 28 at about 3:03 a.m.: Bedminster Police observed a silver Honda Accord traveling on Route 206 southbound fail to keep right and fail to maintain its lane of travel. A motor vehicle stop was conducted on Route 202/206 southbound in the area of the Knox House. Subsequent to the investigation, the passenger, Xavier Quinones, 21, of Coram, New York was arrested for a possession of controlled dangerous substance (CDS) marijuana under 50 grams, possession of drug paraphernalia and a warrant out of Eatontown for $651. Quinones was unable to post bail and was release on his own recognizance with a motor vehicle summons for failure of adult : rear seat passenger to wear seat belt.
On April 6 at about 2:21 a.m.: Bedminster Police observed a Green Audi A4 fail to come to a complete stop at the stop sign in the Hills Drive jug handle, the vehicle also did not properly use its turn signal. A motor vehicle stop was conducted on Robertson Drive in the area of Wynnewood Road. Subsequent to the investigation, Stephen Reil, 30, of Wood Duck Pond Road was arrested on two warrants out of Runnemede totaling $1,110 and possession of controlled dangerous substance(CDS) marijuana under 50 grams, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of a hypodermic needle or syringe. Reil was unable to post bail and was released on his own recognizance with motor vehicle summonses for disregard stop sign regulation or yield sign, failure to give proper signal – turning or stopping, driving after driver's license/ registration suspended / revoked and operation of motor vehicle while in possession of CDS.
On April 6 at 3:07 p.m.: Bedminster Police responded to Rattlesnake Bridge Road and River Road for an overturned motor vehicle with no injuries. Subsequent to the investigation, Zachary Vitez, 24, of Whitehouse Station was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol and issued motor vehicle summonses for driving after driver's license/ registration suspended / revoked, unregistered motor vehicle, careless driving, no liability insurance on motor vehicle and open container.
On April 6 at about 11:15 p.m.: Bedminster Police observed a white Honda Accord traveling on Route 202/206 southbound with an obstructed front windshield due to tint on the front driver and passenger side windows. A motor vehicle stop was conducted on Route 202/206 southbound in the area of Hills Drive. Subsequent to the investigation, Kyajah Goshay, 21, of Vauxhall was arrested for possession of controlled dangerous substance (CDS) marijuana under 50 grams and possession of drug paraphernalia. Goshay was also issued motor vehicle summonses for obstruction of windshield for vision and operation of motor vehicle while in possession of CDS.
On April 7 at about 1:22 p.m.: Bedminster Police observed a blue Chevy Cruze traveling on Route 202/206 northbound with a maintenance of lamps violation. A motor vehicle stop was conducted on Route 202/206 southbound in the area of the Knox House. Subsequent to the investigation, Haneah Jackson, 25, of Hillside was arrested for possession of controlled dangerous substance (CDS) marijuana under 50 grams and possession of drug paraphernalia. Jackson was also issued motor vehicle summonses for maintenance of lamps, operation of motor vehicle while in possession of CDS, and open container.
