DUI, Shoplifting, Obstruction Charges in Bedminster

Bedminster Police made three arrests last week for DUI, Shoplifting and Obstruction of the Administration of Law​.

BEDMINSTER, NJ — Bedminster Police made three arrests last week for DUI, Shoplifting and Obstruction of the Administration of Law.

Bedminster Police blotter:

On Oct. 21 at 6:19 p.m.: Bedminster Police responded to CVS (414 Rte 202-206) for a report of shoplifting. Upon arrival the officer made contact with CVS employee, Jeffrey Pocaro, who advised he had one juvenile male in custody after he witness him take two mini BIC lighters and put them in his waistband. Pocaro advised when he confronted the juvenile male he immediately apologized and gave the two lighters back. The juvenile’s mother responded and was advised of the situation. Pocaro did not wish to pursue charges, but requested the mother pay for the lighters. Pocaro also advised that the juvenile would not be allowed back in the store without adult supervision.

On Oct. 22 at 7:58 p.m.: Bedminster Police responded to Trump Nation Golf Club (900 Lamington Road) for a report of a disorderly person at the clubhouse. Upon arrival Trump employee’s advised the individual left the area in a Gray Jeep Wangler and was intoxicated. Bedminster Police located the vehicle and the subject in question who was sitting in the passenger’s side of the vehicle in the area of 1100 Rattlesnake Bridge Road. Subsequent to the investigation, Vincent Moretti, age 57 of Winder Drive in Bridgewater was arrested for Obstruction of the Administration of Law.
