Polls Opened Tuesday: Where To Vote, Who's On The Ballot in Bedminster, Bernardsville

Bernardsville/Bedminster, NJ -- Tuesday is Primary Day.

In Bernardsville there is a contested race with four candidates vying for two three-year seats.

Republicans Chris Schmidt and Michael C. Sullivan are running against Democrats Matthew Marino and Christine Zamarrra.

In Bedminster there are two three-year seats up for grabs.

The uncontested race includes Republicans Staci Santucci and Douglas A. Stevinson. There are no Democratic challengers.

There are also two Somerset County positions up for grabs.

There are three candidates running for the Somerset County Sheriff's position - one three-year term.

Candidates include the current sheriff Frank Provenzano of Raritan, a Republican and two Democratic challengers Darrin Russo of Somerset and Alexander E. Clark of Somerset.

Three candidates are also vying for one three-year Freeholder position for Somerset County.

Republican Incumbent Patricia “Pat” Walsh of Green Brook is up against Democratic challengers Maria L. Rodriguez of Bridgewater and Lisa A. Kazmier of Manville.

Polls are open from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday.

• District #2, 3 Lamington Presbyterian Church,  Lamington Road
• District #4, 5, 6 Pluckemin Presbyterian Church, 311 Rt. 202/206, Pluckemin
• District #7, 8, 9 Hills Village North Recreation Center, Artillery Park Road

In Bedminster Township, here are the voting locations and district:

• District #1, 2, 7 Library, 1 Anderson Hill Road
• District #3, 4, 5 Presbyterian Church, Rt. 202
• District # 6 Mount Harmony Road
