A plane flew near the luxury golf course in Bedminster on Saturday where President Donald Trump has been staying during the summer weekends. An F-16 fighter jet intercepted the plane, according to military officials.
A U.S. Air Force F-16 fighter aircraft intercepted the general aviation aircraft that entered a temporary flight restricted area "without proper clearances or communications" over Bedminster on Saturday, according to military officials.
The incident happened at approximately 12:30 p.m. The aircraft landed without incident at Sky Manor Airport in Pittstown where the pilot "was met by local law enforcement," according to military officials.

The F-16 was under the direction of the Continental U.S. North American Aerospace Defense Command Region.
Trump spent the weekend at his Bedminster golf course, landing at Morristown Municipal Airport around 4:40 p.m. on Friday.

Trump is expected to fly out of New Jersey on Sunday, according to temporary flight restrictions put in place by the Federal Aviation Administration. The exact timing of that flight has not been made public; in the past, he has flown out mid-evening.
Trump and First Lady Melania Trump last visited the Trump National Golf Club in Bedminster on July 6 when he met with Vice President Mike Pence and the Second Lady.
