Far Hills Country Day School to Host Annual Secondary School Fair

Far Hills, NJ – Far Hills Country Day School (FHCDS) will be hosting its annual Secondary School Fair on Tuesday, September 16, 2014 at 3:45 PM. This event is free and open to the public and is the largest secondary school fair on the east coast. Approximately 120 boarding and day schools will be in attendance, representing the finest secondary schools in the country.

Local NJ day schools: Delbarton School, Gill St. Bernard’s School, Kent Place School, Morristown-Beard School, Mount Saint Mary Academy, Newark Academy, Oak Knoll School, Oratory Prep School, Pingry School, and Seton Hall Prep School.

Local NJ Boarding Schools: Blair Academy, The Hun School, The Lawrenceville School, Peddie School, and The Purnell School.

New England Boarding Schools: Choate Rosemary Hall, Deerfield Academy, The Hotchkiss School, Loomis Chaffee School, Phillips Academy Andover, Phillips Exeter Academy, St. Paul’s School, The Taft School, and Westminster School.

Prospective students and their parents can visit booths from each school and speak one-on-one with admission representatives about their schools of interest. FHCDS Director of Secondary School Counseling, Ed Thompson encourages prospective boarding and day school families to attend this valuable event: “The fair is wonderful learning experience for everyone. At FHCDS our focus is on finding the best fit for high school for each child. The Secondary School Fair is a unique opportunity for families to begin exploring which schools are potential fits for their child.” He added, “Admission representatives are excited to meet local families and are eager to share information with them about their schools.”
