Fugitive Arrested In Bedminster Park With Marijuana: Police
A fugitive of justice was arrested on multiple charges including marijuana possession in a Bedminster park, police report.

BEDMINSTER, NJ — A fugitive of justice was arrested on multiple charges including marijuana possession in a Bedminster park, police report.
On July 1 at 3:55 p.m., Bedminster Police checked on a possible disabled motor vehicle in River Road Park.
Following the investigation, John Kromphold, 53, of Mount Bethel, Pennsylvania was arrested for 2A:160-10 (fugitive of justice), 2C:29-3 (hindering apprehension), 2C:35-10A(4) (possession of less than 50 grams of marijuana), 2C:3-62 (possession of drug paraphernalia) and issued motor vehicle summonses for 39:3-40 (driving while suspended), 39:4-49.1 (controlled dangerous substance in a motor vehicle).

Kromphold was also a wanted person out of the Northampton Sheriff’s Office for eluding and had one traffic warrant out of Flemington for $1,500 and one traffic warrant out of Knowlton Twp. for $1,000.
Kromphold was lodged in Somerset County Jail.
