“More than 20 percent of New Jersey residents claim a heritage connection with Germany, Austria and Switzerland. We offer programs geared to both native and non-native speakers who are interested in learning the language, as well as the culture and traditions of these countries, says GLSMC School Principal Michaela Greco. “Funds from the book and bakes sale will help us pay for additional classroom and interactive learning materials to help students prepare for the 21st century global workforce.”

During the book and bake sale, guests also visited classrooms to learn about programs of the school and to register for the 2015-2016 school year, while enjoying homemade traditional German, Swiss and Austrian pastries, pies and cakes.

The school, located on the campus of Morristown Beard School at 70 Whippany Road Morristown, NJ 07960, will host its annual year-end Schulfest celebration and graduation on May 16, 2015. Visit www.glsmc.org for more information about open enrollment and to register for our infant to pre-K-12 and adult language classes.
