BEDMINSTER, NJ — Ahead of the Senate's impeachment hearings, a local activist has once again carved a message for President Donald Trump into a cornfield outside of his National Golf Club in Bedminster, according to nj.com. Suki Dewey of Califon went out on Sunday morning to stomp down the stalks and create the 200-foot-long message "IMPOTUS" which appears to be melting.

"IMPOTUS" stands for Impeached President of the United States and was coined by attorney and Trump critic George Conway. Conway posted the hashtag on Twitter on Thursday and it has since been trending.

This is the third time Dewey has carved messages for Trump into the cornfield. In July 2018, she carved two giant words "VOTE" and "TRUTH" and in July 2017 she carved "RESIST" with the female symbol.
Trump's impeachment trial in the Senate began on Tuesday after he was impeached by the Democratic-led House last month on charges of abuse of power over pushing Ukraine to investigate Democratic rival Joe Biden and obstruction of Congress in the probe.
