Golf Outing To Honor Legacy Of NJ Man Who Died At Frat Party
The first inaugural Timothy J. Piazza Memorial Foundation Golf Outing will be held in Bedminster to raise money to help others in need.

BEDMINSTER, NJ — In an effort to give life to Timothy J. Piazza's legacy, family and friends have created a foundation in his honor to help others who are in need. Readington local and Penn State student, Piazza, tragically died after he drank dangerous amounts of alcohol on Feb. 2 and fell 15 feet down a flight of stairs during a fraternity party. No one from the fraternity house called 911 until the following morning.
Eight fraternity brothers are facing manslaughter charges in connection with his death. Ten others face related charges of reckless endangerment, tampering with evidence and providing alcohol to minors, among others.

"Unfortunately, Tim's life came to a tragic end on February 4, 2017. In order to fulfill Tim’s life and career goals, and in an effort to give life to his legacy, his family and friends have established a foundation in Tim's memory to help others who are in need. The Timothy J. Piazza Memorial Foundation has been established to raise money to be used to help those who are in need of prosthetic devices (in particular children) and to provide a scholarship(s) to a Hunterdon Central Regional High School student(s) who embodies many of the interests and attributes that defined Tim’s life," stated The Timothy J Piazza Memorial Foundation.

The foundation looks to continue Piazza's work and plans to help others. Piazza had plans to earn his undergraduate degree and then attend graduate school with the hopes of one day developing state-of-the-art prosthetic devices to help those who most desperately needed them.
The first inaugural Timothy J. Piazza Memorial Foundation Golf Outing will be held Aug. 15 at Fiddlers Elbow Country Club, 811 Rattlesnake Bridge Road, Bedminster Township. To learn more about the golf outing visit the Facebook event HERE.
