Help A Hero This Veterans Day, Just Get a Haircut.

On Tuesday, November 11, Veterans Day this year you can help our heros simply by getting a haircut.

Sport Clips in the Pluckemin section of Bedminster (next to the Fresh Market) will be a host site for the company’s annual Veterans Day haircut event during which $1 per haircut service will support “ Help A Hero” scholarships for service members and veterans.

Stores nationwide began collecting donations at checkout Monday, October 13, and will continue through Veterans Day, Tuesday, November 11, when they recognize “The Biggest Haircut Day of the Year.” On this day, $1 from every haircut service will go toward VFW-administered scholarships for transitioning military.

The Bedminster and Flanders Sport Clips locations will also be giving free haircuts to active-duty military and veterans on Veterans Day, with valid proof of service.
