Spring 2014 Production of "In The Heights"
Hexagon Players is proud to present, In The Heights, A New Musical. Opening night is Friday, May 30th, and the show runs through Saturday, June 7th, with both matinee and evening performances offered.
Founded in 1970 by Les Fredericks, who recently retired as Executive Director, Hexagon seeks to provide a consistently high quality community theater experience for both its members and all the residents of the Morris County area.
Our not-for-profit organization has presented more than 80 productions over the past 30 years. We have featured hundreds of talented New Jersey performers in several stage classics such asAnnie, Peter Pan, Wizard of Oz, Sound of Music,Bye Bye Birdie, Guys and Dolls,to name a few, all to the delight of our faithful audiences.

IN THE HEIGHTS tells the universal story of a vibrant community in New York's Washington Heights neighborhood – a place where the coffee from the corner bodega is light and sweet, the windows are always open and the breeze carries the rhythm of three generations of music. It's a community on the brink of change, full of hopes, dreams and pressures, where the biggest struggles can be deciding which traditions you take with you, and which ones you leave behind. IN THE HEIGHTS is the winner of the 2008 Tony Awards for Best Musical, Best Score, Best Choreography and Best Orchestrations.
