'Highly Intoxicated' Bedminster Mom With Child Busted For DUI: Police

A "highly intoxicated" mother with her child was reported at Cherry Brook Pet Supply Store in Bedminster before being arrested, police say.

BEDMINSTER, NJ — A Bedminster mother was arrested after she was found drunk with her child over the weekend in town, police report.

On March 3 at 6:44 p.m., Bedminster Police responded to Cherry Brook Pet Supply Store at 412 Route 202/206 for a report of a highly intoxicated female with a minor.

The officers located the suspect in the parking lot in her vehicle. Subsequent to the investigation, Elizabeth Judd-Miller, 33 of Bedminster was arrested for 39:4-50 (driving under the influence), 39:4-50.2 (Refusal to take breath test), 39:4-51B (possession of open container in a vehicle) and issues a motor vehicle summons for 39:4-50.15(b) (parent or guardian driving while intoxicated with a minor), police reported.

Bedminster Police Blotter:

On March 2 at 5:56 p.m.: Bedminster Police responded to a residence on Birchwood Road for a report of credit card fraud. The resident stated that someone had fraudulently used her Macy’s credit card. The resident stated she was not out any money and that Macy’s was not holding her accountable for the charge of $3,560.01 for a chrome watch. The resident was advised to notify her other credit card companies and bank.

On March 4 at At 11 a.m.: Bedminster Police observed a red dump truck with a trailer traveling west on Lamington Road in the area of Cowperthwaite Road. The rear ramp of the trailer was not secured and was dragging in the road behind the trailer. A motor vehicle stop was conducted on Lamington Road just prior to the Tewksbury border. Subsequent to the investigation, David Crespo, 27, of Hackettstown was arrested for a Washington Twp. warrant for $1,000, a Lebanon Twp. warrant for $750 and a Hackettstown warrant for $186. Crespo was also issued motor vehicle summonses for 39:3-40 (driving while suspended), 39:3-33 (unclear plates), 39:3-66 (maintenance of lamps), 39:3-10a (expired license) and 39:3-44 (vehicle in unsafe condition). Crespo was turned over to Lebanon Twp. PD.
