Homes of Distinction 2018

Join us at two spectacular homes this year at the fundraiser for the Bernardsville Library.

The Bernardsville Library Foundation is pleased to announce that tickets are now available for its signature fundraising event, Homes of Distinction 2018, which will take place on Sunday, May 20th from 2:00 pm to 7:00 pm.

Join us at two spectacular homes this year! Our first home belongs to John and Alice Rubinstein. It's a magnificent contemporary with an extraordinary, world class art collection—a rare opportunity to see a living museum in beautiful surroundings. Tours of this home will run from 2:00 to 4:00 pm, with shuttles leaving from the Bernardsville Library parking lot starting at 1:45 pm.

The beautifully renovated carriage house at Upton Pyne is our second stop where the party begins. Refreshments and spirits will complement the array of appetizers and desserts provided by Della Terra Catering of Montclair. Guests will enjoy beautiful music, a wine pull and fabulous silent auction featuring some wonderful “experience” items. A talk by local historian and author W. Barry Thomson will add historic context to the day.

Local businesses are urged to support this event by advertising in the Keepsake Journal, and businesses and individuals alike can help by donating to the Silent Auction and Wine Pull, in addition to attending the event. All proceeds will benefit Bernardsville Public Library.

The mission of the Bernardsville Library Foundation is to provide a source of private funding to enable our outstanding Four-Star Library to continue to operate at a level of excellence without regard to variations in public funding.

A portion of each ticket price is tax-deductible. For a reservation form and information on donating to the silent auction and wine pull, please go to www.bernardsvillelibrary.org/events.
