I-287 Closed Nightly for Resurfacing Project

The northbound lanes on Route 287 will be closed every night beginning at 8 p.m. until 6 a.m. the next morning in the Bedminster area.

BEDMINSTER, NJ — Lanes on Interstate 287 northbound in Bedminster will be closed nightly through Oct. 28 as New Jersey Department of Transportation continues resurfacing work.

Beginning at 8 p.m. until 6 a.m. the next morning, NJDOT’s Contractor Schifano Construction Corp., is scheduled to close two lanes on I-287 northbound between mile post 21.2 near the Route 78 interchange and mile post 23.0 near Schley Mountain Road in Bedminster for milling, paving, and the reconstruction of inlets.

In order to minimize the impact on traffic, lane closures for the resurfacing of I-287 northbound are being coordinated with the lane closures required for the on-going I-287/I-78/Route 202/Route 206 Interchange Improvements project, according to NJDOT.
